Fun Fact
Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides ties into Volcano Bay’s oceanic backstory: Tai Nui was the daughter of the god Krakatau, who was furious to discover that his daughter had fallen in love with a mortal, named Kala. To punish them both, Krakatau banished Kala to the sky, where he became the moon, while Tai Nui’s flood of sorrow became the sea. Together, Tala and Tai Nui represent two of the central elements that have fused together to create the island paradise – the sea and the moon.
