Today Universal Orlando Show Director Lora Wallace shared the details on Universal’s two new floats that will joined their daily Superstar Parade next month.
The smaller float is themed after Central Park in New York and features Max and Duke.
The larger, main float is based around apartments you’d see in New York city. This float will feature Leonard, Gidget, Chloe, and more.
The new parade unit replaces the now retired HOP unit. The float will have parkour gymnasts, dancers, and gymnasts. Universal’s Superstar Parade currently has Despicable Me, Spongebob and Dora floats. Wallace worked on the initial Superstar Parade floats as well.
Like the other units, this unit will come out multiple times throughout the day. During these mini-shows and photo opportunities, you’ll be able to talk to your favorite pet characters.
A Secret Life of Pets ride is also rumored to be coming to the Resort, although that wasn’t announced today.
