Today we’d like to discuss a topic that is near and dear to many theme park fans’ hearts, but not always appreciated by the budget keepers: merchandise and souvenirs!
The goodies offered at various locations throughout Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure range from a $5,700 movie-quality Batman costume to 51 cent pressed pennies. And who can leave their first visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter without buying a wand and a chocolate frog?
So in today’s poll we ask (current tally will be revealed after voting)…

Not much at all!! A hat or a shirt is about it, maybe a coffee mug
First time allot but now not much to over priced
I usually buy a magnet or 2 thats it but would of brought a globe if they sold them
We purchased pretty much every soft toy available from universal back in January!
ALOT,,,since I usually only get to go annually I kind of buy something everywhere. i spent hundreds in October
I went a little crazy on our trip to the Wizarding World last summer. Then this summer I lost just about everything in a flood. I guess that’s my excuse to go back and indulge again:)
A lot, this October was the first time I’ve been since 2009, so an obscene amount on Harry potter things and Jurassic park, transformers and all the minion stuff
Loads last time, but will be much less this next time.
As I write this I am drinking a nice cold beer out of my Duff beer freezer mug. doh.
I spend too much in the parks lol xx
Not a lot if anything Really wanted to get a HHN souvenir but they were sold out by the last day apparently!
AAA savings matter!!!!!
If u go walmart it’s half the price such a rip off in the parks
Loads 7 years ago and loads every year since . Just cant help it.
A hell of a lot last holiday especially in WIzarding world for the older kids and on magic kingdom for the youngest!
I bought a LOT from wizarding world, but that when it first opened, nowadays you can buy it cheaper online……
Too much lol we should have shares!
My downfall is all the Harry Potter merchandise. I’m a Gryffindor girl and I bought every piece of Gryffindor related merch I could find, clothes, pins, decoration objects… you name it, I must have bought at least one of them!
Every single piece of Gryffindor merchandise I could find really.
For me, I usually only buy souvenirs if they’re on super sale. But as gifts, well, that’s different. So I voted in the poll based on what I buy as gifts!
As an Annual Pass Holder, I probably average under $20 a trip. But that doesn’t mean I don’t splurge! Just means I come here that often.
I usually spend way too much and I blame the kids. 🙂
