Reader poll: 2013’s most improved theme park & your all-time favorite

Reader poll: Most improved theme park in 2013?

While we’re plenty excited for the amazing developments that are on tap for Central Florida’s theme parks in 2014, we can’t already forget all the great gifts fans received during 2013. Here are just a handful of highlights:

To end the year, we’re asking the biggest questions of all in this week’s reader poll. First, we want to know which Central Florida theme park you think is most improved. Keep in mind, the park that has done the most to add value this year may not necessarily be your all-time favorite park — we’ll get to that in just a moment.

So, here is the first poll…

Note: You don’t have to sign into a social network to vote, that is just a feature offered. If you prefer to vote anonymously, click your selection in the poll and, when you see the pop up, click “Keep vote anonymous”.

Now that you’ve shared which park you think is most improved, we’d like to know — after all the developments in 2013 — which park is now your all-time favorite.

Here is our second poll…

Thanks for sharing your votes! If you’d like to see what the parks have on tap for 2014, see our definitive list published earlier this week!

Previous poll: What’s your favorite part of Universal Orlando’s holiday festivities? Out of the five selections available, this poll ended up with basically a three-way tie between Macy’s Holiday Parade, Grinchmas, and the general holiday atmosphere, suggesting that Universal’s holiday activities are all pretty well liked. You can view the poll for the exact numbers.

Well that is an easy question to answer. It is, like it has been for the past few years now, Universal Resort. Now that they are going to be offering a cross-part experience, do we still have to choose one or the other? My brother and sister-in-law where in FL in October and she loved Fantasyland but they both maintained that the best Disney park was still Hollywood Studios, which is odd after the changes made at Magic Kingdom. That would lead me to believe that the new attractions aren’t that great. I haven’t been to any Disney park other… Read more »

Really disappointed with all of the Disney Parks this year!
There were less than no Christmas decorations up and the usual Christmas spirit was nearly non existent, we love Disney but it has been getting worse for a few years now!
When we return next year we will be giving it a miss and doing Universal again which is far superior in many ways!

My all time favorite is and will always be Disney. We went this year and they had so many Christmas decorations up and it was just really beautiful.

Magic kingdom is most improved in 2013 by far. Next year will undoubtedly by Universal Studios.

How can people vote for Universal studios for most improved park when it’s had 1 ride put in this year? Remember that Diagon alley isn’t even open yet….

What exactly improved in 2013 for Magic Kingdom….? Darren Bown how can people vote for Universal? Hmmm….let’s think. They built a huge E Ticket attraction (Transformers) in ONE YEAR that opened this year, including all of Springfield, which includes so many new things, and they have been busy constructing Diagon Alley. I’m pretty sure Universal is unstoppable right now 😉 I’m a huge Disney geek but Disney is a huge let down right now. All they have as “improvements” is a snow white coaster which has been taking forever forever build, and the horrible My Magic Plus/Fast Pass + handcuffs.… Read more »
