The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Florida
The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Florida

What is The Simpsons Ride?

Join the Simpsons family, along with the wacky denizens of Springfield, as they go on their own theme-park adventure to the thrilling (and possibly evil) Krustyland. This motion simulator is chock-full of characters from the show, with generous servings of Simpsons humor – the gags come fast and furious enough to make re-rides very entertaining.

Where is The Simpsons Ride located?

In Springfield: Home of the Simpsons, which is located in Universal Studios Florida.

The Simpsons Ride – height restrictions and other factors

Height requirement is 40 inches; a supervising companion is required for riders under 48 inches; has Express Pass access.

The Simpsons Ride – what you wish you knew before you experienced it

Inside The Simpsons Ride.

This attraction may be based on an animated show, but if you have seen The Simpsons on Fox or Disney+, then you know the humor and story themes are adult-oriented. Expect the same on this ride.

How scary is The Simpsons Ride?

We rate this ride two out of five Duff beers on our fear factor scale – it’s a pretty straightforward simulator ride with a few moments of motion intensity.

What was The Simpsons Ride’s opening date?

May 15, 2008

The Simpsons Ride – OI fun facts

In homage to Back to the Future: The Ride, which was replaced by The Simpsons back in 2008, Comic Book Guy is wearing Marty’s futuristic jacket from Back to the Future, Part II. And in another Easter egg, Simpsons creator Matt Groening’s portrait is on display inside the queue.

The Simpsons Ride – Carnival Games

There’s a host of carnival games lining the attraction entrance, perfectly complimenting the madcap Krustyland theme of the ride itself. Try your hand at one of these Simpsons-themed games – if you’re lucky, you may just take home a giant, stuffed Homer.

The entire experience is something no Simpson fan should miss, even my wife who doesn't care for the show loved the ride! The whole thing including the line Que is apart of the experience and something I highly recommend!

I've got to say I was not a fan of this ride, and neither were my husband or best friend. The queue is amazing and perfectly themed. The ride itself though is super jerky and not smooth at all. With about 5 of these style rides around the theme park, I'd much rather do Transformers or Gringotts as they are a much smoother ride. Last time we did this one, I left with a bad headache and my husband with a sore back.

We ALL loved this ride. Not only was the design and ride differeant from the others it REALLY made it fun for all our family. So much so we spent hours in this area of the park....after all we are all kids at heart.

Be Prepared
Date Of Last Visit: August 2014

The ride itself is good to say the least. The problem I had was that it was way too much going on in the screen in front of you. I actually started to feel a little sick. Thankfully the ride ended and I had absolutely no problems in tge actual ride. The theming of the land itself is awesome! But be prepared for too much going on in the screen teen feet away from your face.
