What is Stardust Racers?

Stardust Racers at Universal Epic Universe

With speeds of 62 mph and heights up to 133 feet on a 4,800-foot track, this dueling coaster promises to be an out-of-this-world thrill that combines excitement with the wonder of the cosmos, all within a minute and a half ride time. The Celestians, inhabitants of Celestial Park, have mastered the ability to harness the energy from the universe. This power allows them to leap onto comets and surf across the skies, bringing us Stardust Racers. Board one of these shooting stars to experience unique maneuvers like the “Celestial Spin,” where two coaster vehicles perform an inverted crisscross while speeding through the air.

Where is Stardust Racers?

Riders must be at least 48” to ride. If someone in your party doesn’t quite meet this requirement, Child Swap is available. All loose articles must be stowed in lockers. This attraction has a single-rider line and Express Pass access; must stow loose articles in free lockers.

What you wish you knew before you experienced it

As mentioned earlier, no loose articles are allowed on this ride—and Universal enforces this with metal detectors at the entrance.

When it comes to the two tracks, the green track tends to be more popular and is considered slightly more intense. Between the green and yellow tracks, the green track features a more dynamic rotation during the Celestial Spin.

Opening Date

May 22, 2025

Flux Capacitor on Stardust Racers at Epic Universe
Flux Capacitor on Stardust Racers at Epic Universe
  • Stardust Racers will have no external track lighting at night, making the fully illuminated ride vehicles look like comets shooting across the sky.
  • This is the longest coaster ever created by Universal Orlando Resort and its manufacturer, Mack Rides.
  • Don’t forget to check the back of the ride vehicle—you just might spot a flux capacitor. Great Scott!
