Wave Village is the first village you encounter upon entering Volcano Bay, and it primarily serves as the park’s rest and relaxation area – although one of the most intense slides can also be found here, literally intersecting all that wonderful relaxing.
Guests can enjoy Waturi Beach, a wave pool found at the foot of the centerpiece volcano, Krakatau; Ko’okiri Body Plunge, a 70-degree, 125-foot-long water slide that’s extraordinarily thrilling; and, for those seeking more relaxing moments, the Reef leisure pool, which is five-and-a-half feet deep and comes with its own waterfall (and is where Ko’okiri cuts through).

Wave Village Attractions
Waturi Beach
Waturi Beach is Volcano Bay’s multi-directional – not to mention only – wave pool. Made up as a lagoon, it’s situated at the foot of the Krakatau volcano itself and is where you can find a beach (as the name would imply) and Premium Seating and cabanas to rent.
The Reef
The Reef is five-and-a-half feet deep and sports its own private waterfall. The real stand-out feature here, however, is watching riders shoot down the Ko’okiri Body Plunge, whose clear plexi tube snakes through the pool.
Ko’okiri Body Plunge
Ko’okiri Body Plunge is a drop-door body slide that pitches riders down a 70-degree-angle descent for 125 feet of high-speed fun.
Wave Village Dining
Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club (quick-service)
Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club is Volcano Bay’s main quick-service restaurant, offering one of its most expansive menus. With such a variety of options, everybody in your party is sure to be happy dining here!
Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona (quick-service)
Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona is Volcano Bay’s ice cream stand. It is renowned for offering the visually appealing Waturi Fusion, a combination of four different flavors: banana, blue raspberry, orange, and strawberry. If you’d prefer to try more traditional ice cream flavors, chocolate and vanilla are also available.
Dancing Dragons Boat Bar (limited-service bar)
Dancing Dragons Boat Bar is the second of two themed bars that can be found at Volcano Bay. This beached outrigger canoe serves up specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, and more on Volcano Bay’s shore.
