Tonight, Happily Ever After debuted at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The show replaced the beloved Wishes firework show.
Happily Ever After is an 18-minute show that utilizes projection mapping technology to follow a variety of Disney’s both oldest and newest characters. Some of the 25 Disney films that are featured include “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “Moana,” and “Zootopia.” Guests were delightfully surprised to find that even “Hunchback of Notre Dame” is shown in the new nightly fireworks spectacle.
Wishes replacement took over a year to create. A 75-piece orchestra gathered in London to record the score for Happily Ever After.
