Wild Oasis at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: NEW Details

|

This morning, we visited Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for an exciting update on Wild Oasis, a new interactive adventure realm coming to the park’s Jungala area in Spring 2025. From thrilling attractions to up-close animal encounters, we got the inside scoop—and we’re here to share all the details with you!

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Wild Oasis introduces Tree Top Drop, a family-friendly drop tower that offers 35 feet of free-fall fun! The ride has a height requirement of 38 inches with an adult or 42 inches to ride alone, making it perfect for kids and parents to enjoy together.

That’s not the only way Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is taking things to new heights! Canopy Climb is a towering, multi-level play structure that lets you see the jungle from all-new perspectives. Navigate 45-foot-tall climbing towers, weave through a 200-foot-long net course, and take on a vertical climbing maze and suspended swinging bridge.

Beat the Florida heat at Enchanted Falls, a splash pad packed with fountains, geysers, jets, and a waterfall—guaranteed fun for kids (and refreshing for parents, too!). Plus, plenty of shaded seating ensures everyone can take a break and recharge.

Wild Oasis isn’t just about thrills—it’s also home to a multi-species habitat featuring capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys, and a variety of tropical birds.

“One of the things that I am most looking forward to is showing off how animals live in harmony,” Kayla Wendzel, a Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Zoological Curator, said this morning. “No matter what color, size, or different type of behavior they generally display, they can all live together cohesively to benefit their environment.”

This isn’t your typical habitat—you’ll be able to see capybaras up close in an underwater viewing area and get an aerial view of squirrel monkeys and exotic birds from the Canopy Climb!

Plus, put your exploration skills to the test with Rainforest Quest, an interactive scavenger hunt that takes you on an educational journey across Wild Oasis. Each station is themed to animals from the rainforests of Central and South America, helping guests learn about the unique ways these species connect to each other.

Wild Oasis is set to open in Spring 2025, bringing a whole new level of adventure to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Don’t miss your chance to experience it—score discounted admission through Orlando Informer and be among the first to explore this wild new world!
