What is Velvet Bar?

Velvet Bar is the lobby-level bar in Hard Rock Hotel Orlando, serving up appetizers, cocktails, and live music. The atmosphere oozes cool, and the dark wood, red leather, and rich fabrics combine for an exclusive hangout for aspiring musicians and their groupies.

On the last Thursday of every month (excluding, typically, November and December), Velvet Bar hosts Velvet Sessions. These parties feature specialty cocktails, finger foods, and live music from legendary bands. The impressive lineup of past performers includes Joan Jett, Foreigner, and Blue Oyster Cult.
