What is Rising Star?
Rising Star is Universal CityWalk’s resident karaoke club, featuring a stage, a fully stocked bar, and a nightly host to keep things moving along. The venue’s main claim to fame is the presence of a live band and backup singers on Tuesday through Saturday nights, elements that can take anyone’s performance from amateur to star-powered. The song list is extensive, spanning both decades and genres – no matter your taste, you’re sure to find a tune worth belting to the crowd.
If singing isn’t your forte, not to worry – we find it just as fun to sit back and enjoy the performances from your fellow guests. Add a signature “Karaoke Cocktail” to the mix, and you’re guaranteed a good time!
