What is Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges?
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges is a traditional – and fun – raft ride. While it doesn’t quite pack the punch of Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls just across the walkway, it’s still a great way to get soaked, and to do so in classic comic book style!
Where is Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges located?
In Toon Lagoon, which is in Islands of Adventure.
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges – height restrictions and other factors

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges – what you wish you knew before you experienced it
You will get soaked. Consider saving this for your last ride of the day, or prepare in advance by wearing water-friendly clothing. Also, be sure to watch out for the water cannons controlled by guests on Me Ship, The Olive!
How scary is Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges?
We rate this a mere one out of five cans of spinach on our fear factor scale. There’s a lot of water involved, but no major drops like the aforementioned neighboring Ripsaw Falls.

May 28, 1999

You get soaked. The boat spins in circles, water falls from above in a number of areas. Where the water hits is random. It is like a tame water rafting, short trip. It was very fun.
very good raft ride, will get extremely wet, suggest you prepare for this,

What Orlando Informer has to say about it: "What you wish you knew before you experienced it
YOU WILL GET SOAKED."
Ain't that the truth.
Where do I even start? This is such a great ride to go on, especially in Florida's HOT weather. Seriously.
I think it's a very family / group oriented ride because one little "circular boat" can carry a lot of people.
SO even if you are on a field trip with your school, you should go on this !
This is by far the best ride for a few reasons. First, water rides in Florida heat are always a plus and believe me, you will get soaked no matter where on the ride you are sitting. Second, it has a place for you to shoot water at fellow parkgoers. Third, and probably most importantly, it is long and feels long. When you come to a curve on some rides, you can tell it's going to end soon and undoubtedly you get a pang of sadness in your gut (and maybe a little anger that you might have to wait in a long line to ride it again). With Popeye & Bluto's, you turn a corner, feel that pang, and then the ride keeps going! It definitely is the best water ride I've ever been on.
