What is Mine-Cart Madness?
Mine-Cart Madness brings the world of Donkey Kong into this land with a wild mine cart ride through the jungle. Join Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong on a high-speed mission to protect the golden banana. As you speed through the mine, you’ll seemingly leap across gaps in the track and execute other eye-popping feats reminiscent of the Donkey Kong Country video games.
With the recent announcement of Universal Studios Japan’s Donkey Kong expansion, set to open later in 2024, we’re getting an exciting preview of what Florida’s version of the ride will offer.

Mine-Cart Madness – height restrictions and other factors
Guests must be at least 40” to assist Donkey Kong on this adventure aboard Mine-Cart Madness. A supervising companion is required for guests under 48”. Hand-held infants are not permitted. This attraction has a single-rider line but no Express Pass access. Child Swap is available.
What you wish you knew before you experienced it
To fully enjoy the coaster and avoid spoilers about the track-jumping illusion, we recommend sitting in the front left or back left seats—these positions keep you furthest from the effect’s reveal. The back left seat is especially ideal, as the rear row sits slightly elevated above the front, offering an even better view of the action.
