Enter the village of Berk, where Vikings and dragons live alongside one another. This immersive world brings to life the How to Train Your Dragon franchise with thrilling experiences that will capture the essence of dragon flight and Viking adventures.
In keeping with the immersive design of Epic Universe, all worlds are ingeniously separated by berms with “portal” entrances. These portals act as magical gateways, transitioning guests from the central hub of Celestial Park – a world between worlds – to the distinct realms of each area.

Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
On this family thrill coaster, Hiccup has crafted a winged contraption that launches eager Dragon Riders into the sky. Guests will experience the thrill of flying on a dragon at speeds reaching 45 mph, diving and sweeping through the air alongside Hiccup and Toothless, truly embodying the spirit of dragon flight.
Fyre Drill
Viking twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut have reimagined Berk’s Fyre Skööl as Fyre Drill, a family-friendly, interactive boat ride. Guests are invited to this playful competition by aiming at flame-like targets (and even other boats!) with onboard water cannons.
Dragon Racer’s Rally
Dragon Racer’s Rally is inspired by Berk’s favorite pastime: Dragon Racing. This thrilling ride elevates guests skyward with the help of a Viking-engineered dragon-riding trainer. Experience breathtaking aerobatics and high-speed barrel rolls atop two Viking-crafted dragon-riding simulators, soaring up to 67 feet. Guests have the power to tailor their ride from “mild” to “wild,” executing gravity-defying maneuvers and showcasing the swooping and soaring skills required to gain the honors of a champion dragon racer.
Viking Training Camp
Junior Vikings are invited to Viking Training Camp, an interactive play area where they can explore the diverse world of dragons. This space offers a wealth of activities, including climbable towers, an agility course, musical Viking drums and chimes, an interactive sheep launcher game, a Toothless-themed teeter-totter, as well as slides and activities specially designed for the littlest Vikings.

At Haddock Paddock, the heroic Dragon Rider, Hiccup, and his Night Fury, Toothless, leap off the screen and into Epic Universe, ready to meet and greet their newest friends!
Character Experiences
While exploring the village of Berk, guests will have the chance to encounter Hiccup and Toothless, Astrid and Stormfly, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and the Night Lights Baby Dragon, plus see Gobber at his forge! At night, Monstrous Nightmare or Gronckle dragons can be spotted soaring in the sky!
