Why did it close?
When Universal shut down San Francisco‘s two sole attractions – Disaster and Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue – at the end of 2015 and early 2016, respectively, the company knew it needed some new experience, no matter how temporary, to anchor that section of the park while Fast & Furious: Supercharged was being built. Flying Fish Market was that placeholder element, and, even better, it also helped Universal Studios Florida to up its live-entertainment game, which was a concerted push during this same time period (Beat Builders, Sing It!, and Marilyn and the Diamond Bellas all debuted within this nine-month period). We guess you could say the show therefore killed two themed birds with one stone… before being killed itself.

What replaced it?
Nothing (or Fast & Furious: Supercharged, depending upon your perspective).
