Chez Alcatraz is a marine-themed walk-up bar located on Fisherman’s Wharf that offers a variety of signature cocktails. Situated over the water and dressed with nautical charm, this spot is popular amongst adults and is known for its exemplary service. (Plus, there’s that Jaws photo-op!)

Opening and closing times are subject to change, but you can typically find Chez Alcatraz open from 11:00 am until an hour or so before park close. And as a quick-service location, there are no reservations.

If you are still mourning the loss of Jaws at Universal Studios Florida, Chez Alcatraz may be able to offer some solace. Along with its seaside theming, this spot is home to an enormous replica of the great white shark himself (named Bruce), which serves as both a tribute to the retired ride and an awesome photo spot.

Additionally, Chez is the only place where you can find one of the park’s most iconic drinks: the Ocean Attack. Reminiscent of a bloody shark encounter, the making of this drink is often accompanied by a bit of performance from your bartender – order it and see for yourself!
