What is Celestial Park?

Celestial Park lays down the welcome mat for guests ready to explore the worlds of Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park, Epic Universe. Celestial Park is not just a starting point; it’s a vibrant nexus that interweaves the thrilling stories and experiences of four extraordinary worlds: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

Here, portals to extraordinary worlds await, but the wonders of Celestial Park itself are equally captivating. Feel the rush of the cosmos on Stardust Racers, Epic Universe’s heart-pounding dueling coaster that is an epic battle of speed and excitement. For a more serene experience, take a spin through the Milky Way on the enchanting Constellation Carousel or cool down in Astronomica, an interactive wet-play area.

The adventures to be had are sure to ignite your appetite, and Celestial Park offers a feast for the senses! Satisfy your cravings at a diverse array of eateries, like Atlantic or The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.

Standing proudly at the entrance of Celestial Park is The Chronos, a mysterious mechanism with origins unknown to even the Celestians, the residents of the park. This device, when fully aligned, opens a gateway to the universe, inviting guests to step inside and explore. The Celestians use its power to open portals to other worlds like Dark Universe and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

Celestial Park is meticulously designed, featuring 26 individual gardens, each with unique theming and plants. At dusk, a transformative ceremony occurs, involving an orchestral display of light and music. This marks the moment when Apollo, the god of the sun responsible for the day’s radiance, passes the torch to Luna, the god of the moon, who oversees the night’s luminescence.

Stardust Racers

With speeds of 62 mph and heights up to 133 feet on a 5,000-foot track, this dueling coaster promises to be an out-of-this-world thrill that combines excitement with the wonder of the cosmos. Stardust Racers will include unique maneuvers like the “Celestial Spin,” where two coaster vehicles perform an inverted crisscross while speeding through the air.

Constellation Carousel

This carousel isn’t your typical merry-go-round; it features a variety of celestial creatures like lions, dragons, and peacocks. As each creature rotates 360 degrees, riders are gently lifted up to 6 feet in the air, adding extra excitement to the ride. This imaginative twist on a classic theme park attraction is designed to captivate visitors of all ages.

Astronomica

Experience a refreshing break in this interactive water play area, designed like a compass rose. Here, guests can enjoy splashing around in playful fountains that dance and swirl around them, creating a delightful and cooling experience.

Travelers from Epic Universe’s portals take to the Hemisphere Stage to share their tales, bringing their adventures to life through music featuring encounters with monsters, dragons, and more.

Character Experiences

Are there guest services available in Celestial Park?

Guest Services

Guest Services is located at a kiosk by Constellation Carousel. Stop by if you have any questions, concerns, or special needs during your time at the park.

Restrooms

Restrooms in Celestial Park are located by the front entrance to Epic Universe, next to Pizza Moon, and near the entrance of Stardust Racers.

Lockers

Daily locker rentals are available to the left of the Chronos. Two sizes are offered: Small (12″ x 13″ x 16.9″) and Large (12″ x 16.25″ x 16.9″).

First aid

Celestial Park is home to the park’s two First Aid locations. The first is near the front of Epic Universe, next to the Chronos. The second is located on the opposite end of the park, to the left of the portal to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. This location also serves as a family care center.

Rental services

Strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs are available for rent in this area of Epic Universe, just to the left of the Chronos.

Lost and Found

The park’s only Lost and Found station is located near the front entrance of Epic Universe, to the left of the Chronos.

Service Animal Relief Areas

There are two service animal relief areas in Celestial Park. The first (while technically outside the park) is located beyond the Epic Universe entrance, closer to the parking lot. The second is near the entrance to Stardust Racers.
