What is Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando

In short, Sesame Street Land is the best place to take your little ones at SeaWorld Orlando. Even if the younger members of your party don’t know Elmo and friends, there’s plenty to entice them and keep them busy exploring the area, meeting characters, and enjoying a number of age-appropriate attractions. Entry to this section of the park is included with park admission. Since there’s so much to cover, we recommend carefully reviewing this page for all the details!

Sesame Street Land – Attractions

Abby’s Flower Tower
Abby Cadabby uses her magic to bring some fun to Sesame Street Land! Parents and children will load into a flower and magically fly through the air. Guests shorter than 42” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride. 

Big Bird’s Twirl and Whirl 
Join Big Bird in this teacup-style attraction. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to settle into a nest and spin around to your heart’s (or stomach’s) content! Guests shorter than 36” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride

Cookie Drop!
In this miniature tower attraction, you’ll be lifted up and down, up and down on Cookie Monster’s Cookie Drop. It’s crumbs of fun! Guests shorter than 42” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride.

Elmo’s Choo Choo Train 
Elmo’s Choo Choo Train is a classic theme-park attraction. Once you’re all aboard, you can look out for caterpillars, butterflies, and more! Guests shorter than 36” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride.

Rosita’s Harmony Hills and Rubber Duckie Water Works 
By land or by sea, come play on Rosita’s Harmony Hills or Rubber Duckie Water Works! Both play areas feature a number of elements for kids of all ages to enjoy and explore. Rosita’s Harmony Hills is a semi-shaded turf playground where children can crawl, jump, and run! Once they work up a sweat, move on over to Rubber Duckie Water Works for a refreshing respite from the Florida sun. Be warned – if your little one likes the splash pad, you might need to bring a change of clothes (or pop into Mr. Hooper’s store for an outfit swap). No height restrictions – all are welcome to play!

Slimey’s Slider 
One of the more unique attractions at Sesame Street Land, Slimey’s Slider will swoop guests back and forth through Oscar the Grouch’s compost collection! You’ll wiggle like a worm until you find what you’re looking for. Guests shorter than 42” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride.

Super Grover’s Box Car Derby
In the closest thing to a roller coaster at Sesame Street Land, Super Grover’s Box Car Derby will surprise and delight guests of all ages. Hop aboard and buckle in! It’s going to be an exhilarating ride. Guests who are between 38″ and 40.9″ must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Unfortunately, infants are not permitted on this ride.

Sunny Day Carousel 
It’s not a day at the park without a go on the carousel! This newly re-themed attraction features horses and creatures of all sizes and colors, so there’s something for everyone! Guests shorter than 42” must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Infants may ride this attraction but must ride on bench seating with a supervising companion.

Sesame Street Party Parade
Get ready to boogie! Join Elmo, Big Bird, Count von Count, Oscar the Grouch, and all your favorite Sesame Street friends in this parade-turns-block party! Entertainment will be provided in the form of world-class floats, life-sized characters, and thrilling street actors. Check the SeaWorld Orlando app for details on daily float times, or refer to the day’s park map for this information. 

Character Meet & Greets
If meeting Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, and more is on your list, look no further than the character meet and greets in Hooper’s Store! Check the SeaWorld Orlando app for details on character times and who you’ll get to see, but we know you’ll be ready once they get there! Guests are able to pose and hug their favorite Sesame Street friends in this one-of-a-kind experience. Interacting with characters is entirely free (as is the option to take your own photos), but a professional photographer will be present in case you want to purchase your memories!

Although Sesame Street Land isn’t exactly full of fine dining, we’re fine with that! The focus of this area is to give kids the chance to explore and play. That being said, there are a few options from which you can grab quick bites and snacks to nourish your little one and keep them going! 

Eats on the Street Food Trucks
The food trucks that line Sesame Street are the perfect place to find something quick to eat without having to travel far from your little one’s play area. Being as this is such a kid-centric land at SeaWorld Orlando, the selections here are decidedly focused towards younger guests: grilled cheese and chicken nuggets, anyone?
