Located near the front of the park, Future World at EPCOT has plenty to offer for guests seeking thrills and adventure. The original concept for Future World was that it would house the most cutting-edge, futuristic attractions Disney had to offer. Over the years, this commitment has proven to be a difficult standard to uphold, as the theme park industry is changing just as rapidly as technology will permit. That being said, there’s still plenty Future World has to offer, and we’ve listed everything out here for you to peruse!

Dining in Future World at EPCOT

Coral Reef Restaurant (Fine dining)
Located next to The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Features upscale seafood and American cuisine with views of a living coral reef.
- Reservation required
- Must have valid park admission and Park Pass
- Food Favorites:
- Lunch and Dinner menus both feature these food recommendations!
- For an appetizer, go for the Lobster Bisque! History and personal experience have shown that this restaurant tends to do soup very well. For the entree, the Shrimp and Grits is a delightful take on a classic combination. This dish offers nice flavors and a pretty good ratio of shrimp to grits, which is a critical component of this kind of dish. If anyone in your party is plant-based or if you’re feeling adventurous, check out the Grilled Vegetable Skewer with Impossible Kefta. The stand-out element in this dish was the perfect texture of all the many separate elements. Speaking of plant-based, the Baileys Almande and Jack Daniel’s Mousse is a glorious finisher for this meal. Bold chocolate and whiskey flavors combined with the light fluffiness of a mousse make this a winning combination. Another option for dessert is a consistent favorite at the Coral Reef Restaurant: the Chocolate Wave dessert, which features chocolate and raspberry flavors. This dish got a recent makeover that has improved it since pre-closure, and it was just the change the dish really needed. Even so, In EPCOT there is no shortage of amazing treats, so it might also be worth it to hold off and hit a festival booth for dessert instead.
Space 220 Restaurant (Fine dining)
Located next to Mission: SPACE. Features an assortment of American cuisine and an “out-of-this-world” atmosphere as you are transported to space for your meal.
- Reservation required
- Must have valid park admission and Park Pass
- Food Favorites:
- Lunch: Space 220 features a pre-fixe menu where you are able to choose a starter and an entree.
- For lunch, try the Blue Moon Cauliflower as a starter. This is probably one of the most delicious menu items in general, and it is a delightful light and crispy starter. For the entree, one of the standouts is the Seared Tuna, a beautiful plate and a great choice for anyone who is a big fan of tuna. You have the option to add a side for an extra charge, and if that is something you are interested in you have to try the Brussels Sprouts! They are (pardon the pun) out of this world.
- Psst, most of these items can also be found on the Dinner menu!
- Dinner: Space 220 features a pre-fixe menu where you are able to choose a starter, an entree, and a dessert.
- For dinner, start out your meal with the Big Bang Burrata. Cheese is always good, but CHEESE IN SPACE?!? Unfortunately, this doesn’t come with any great vehicles for consuming the cheese, but that simply means you’ll be tempted to combine it with just about everything else you eat for the rest of the meal, and you should definitely, definitely listen to that instinct. Following that, a stand-out entree is the 8oz Filet Mignon. Cooked to perfection, this classic is absolutely a must-try. Again, you have the option to add sides or meal enhancements, and dinnertime offers a fantastic 1.5 lbs Whole Lobster Stuffed with Jumbo Crab. This is a massive portion, so make sure at least one other person at your table is game to share! Finally, for dessert, you have to try this plant-based Carrot Cake. It’s a serious case of “I can’t believe this is plant-based”. This dish is moist and creamy, and the plant-based cream cheese is particularly impressive in terms of flavor and texture.
- Psst, most of these items (except for dessert) can also be found on the Lunch menu!
- Lounge: Where the lunch and Dinner menus have fixed options, the lounge allows you to order a la carte. It features a few items from the regular menu and a few that are exclusive to the lounge.
- There are several exciting dishes on the lounge menu as well. The first is the Short Rib Sliders, where every individual piece – the super-soft bread, the gorgeously well-cooked meat, the fresh toppings – are all amazing and make this one fantastic small plate. Even though these were phenomenal, the top pick for this menu was the Chicken on Waffle. What made this a nice dish was the uniqueness brought to every aspect that elevates what is usually a really casual southern classic. The roasted corn waffle and spicy slaw were especially delightful.
- Lunch: Space 220 features a pre-fixe menu where you are able to choose a starter and an entree.
Garden Grill Restaurant (Fine dining)
Located inside The Land pavilion on the second level. Features fresh American-style foods. A modified character dining experience is also available.
- Reservation required
- Must have valid park admission and Park Pass

- The menu at this restaurant is set and changes seasonally, but do not let this be a worry to you, as this is one of the most consistently highly-rated restaurants throughout the parks. This is likely due to the freshness of the produce, which is grown in the very greenhouses you tour on Living with the Land! The lunch and dinner menus are almost exactly the same, so these recommendations apply to both.
- The Garden Salad is a consistently great choice, as it is incredibly fresh due of course to the in-house grown vegetables. There have seen some mixed reviews on the All-Natural Sliced Turkey Breast, with some stating that it was dry or under-seasoned. There have also been many that describe it as absolutely perfect. Turkey can be finicky at best in most situations, so be prepared for this to go either way. When it is good, however, it is very good. The Grilled Beef with Chimichurri seems to be more reliable, but the menu is once again fixed, so you will get to sample everything anyway. Make sure you save some room for dessert because the Berry Shortcake is a crowd favorite! The exact berries used change seasonally as they are grown in-house.
