SeaWorld Orlando is set to unveil a first-of-its-kind Arctic flying theater in Spring 2025, offering families the chance to soar over icy landscapes, dive beneath frozen waters, and encounter some of the world’s most majestic creatures. From beluga whales and orcas to walruses, this new ride immerses guests in the heart of the Arctic. Guests will experience the Arctic as though they were truly there, taking in breathtaking visuals both in the sky and underwater, including the awe-inspiring Aurora Borealis and remote, untouched Arctic landscapes.
With a minimum height requirement of just 39 inches, this adventure is designed for the whole family to enjoy. Riders will embark on a four-minute and thirty-second journey within one of two immersive multi-level theaters, each accommodating 30 guests. Plus, the indoor setting guarantees a cool, exciting escape no matter the weather, making it a year-round must-visit attraction.
After the ride, guests can continue their Arctic journey by visiting the Wild Arctic exhibit, where they’ll come face-to-face with beluga whales, walruses, and other incredible creatures from the frozen north.
This attraction was created in part by an award-winning production team, who filmed in some of the most remote areas of the Arctic, using custom-built equipment specifically created for this project.
“By bringing the wonders of the Arctic to life, we are offering guests an unparalleled and immersive experience that will create lasting memories for people of all ages,” said Jon Peterson, President of SeaWorld Orlando.
This new addition joins SeaWorld Orlando’s lineup of thrilling attractions, including Penguin Trek, which debuted earlier this year in July.
