Coming to Universal Studios Florida in 2017 is “Race through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Universal describes the attraction as a 3D ride where “guests will enjoy the full ‘Tonight Show’ experience as they’re transported to Studio 6B to race against Jimmy in a crazy adventure that only he could imagine.”
Universal promises guests that the attraction will “seamlessly blend the playful and irreverent world of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ with the incredible technology and imaginative storytelling for which Universal Orlando is known.”
Race through New York will replace Twister: Ride it Out in the New York backlot area of Universal Studios Florida. The attraction, starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, simulates a F5 tornado and will close on November 2, 2015.
Race through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon opens in 2017 alongside Universal’s future water theme park, Volcano Bay, Fast & Furious: Supercharged, and a 400 room expansion at Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
