Since its grand opening on August 19, 2009, this roller coaster, manufactured by Maurer Söhne GmbH & Co. KG (now Maurer AG), has been a defining feature of Universal Orlando Resort’s skyline. Known for its towering 167-foot vertical lift and top speeds of 65 mph, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit offers an unforgettable ride experience.

What truly sets this thrill apart is its customizable soundtrack, letting guests select the perfect song to accompany their ride. Current music choices include:

  • Classic Rock/Metal: “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance (2006)
  • Pop/Disco: “Waterloo” by ABBA (1974)
  • Country: “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” By Shania Twain (1997)
  • Rap/Hip-Hop: “Humble” by Kendrick Lamar (2017)
  • Club/Electronica: “Sandstorm” by Darude (2000)

But wait, there’s a secret song menu! Curious to know what hidden tracks are available and how to unlock them? Explore our guide here for all the details.

About Kelsey Bowyer

Kelsey hails from the land of chocolate, ketchup, and Mister Rogers – known to most as Pennsylvania. Her family’s annual visits to the sunshine state instilled a love of storytelling and theme parks at an early age. In 2015, she packed her bags for the Disney College Program but decided to make this move permanent and call Orlando home. When she is not roaming Orlando’s world-class Theme Parks with her husband, she can be found lost in a book, planning her next vacation, or petting dogs.
