This year at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights everyone is entitled to at least one good scare.
Today Universal Orlando revealed that Halloween II will be one of the nine houses at Halloween Horror Nights 26.
This is Halloween‘s second appearance at Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. The first house, which was constructed two years ago at HHN 24, received rave reviews from both critics and fans of the event. That house was based off of the original 1978 classic, whereas this year’s house will be based on the 1981 sequel, Halloween II.
“The sequel continued Myers’ terror on the town of Haddonfield. And instead of a sleepy neighborhood, we were placed into the confines of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. It’s a cold, stark setting, but also—just like the original—very familiar,” Mike Aiello, Director of Creative Development for Entertainment at Universal Orlando said on Universal’s blog.
Halloween II joins an already impressive lineup of houses including Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist, The Walking Dead, and a house based around this year’s icon Chance.
Halloween Horror Nights 26 at Universal Orlando Resort runs from September 16 through October 31 on 31 select nights. For more information, read our comprehensive free HHN.guide.
