Dreamworks Land Attractions
DreamWorks Land adds a host of new attractions to Universal Studios Florida, ranging from a kiddie coaster to interactive play areas. Below, you’ll find photos and our insights on these exciting new experiences.
Trolls Trollercoaster
Previously the Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, which closed in January 2023, this ride has been transformed into the whimsical world of the Trolls. On Trolls Trollercoaster, you can hop on the caterbus and twist and turn along the track to dodge spiders. It’s a fantastic introduction for those new to roller coasters. We absolutely loved how the retheming of this classic attraction brought the vibrant and playful world of the Trolls to life!
Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp
Step into the action at Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp, a play zone inspired by the Kung Fu Panda films. Watch as Panda Village springs to life with engaging interactive features like water cannons, dump buckets, giant fans, gongs, and merry-go-round noodle bowls. It’s the ultimate playground for little explorers to unleash their inner kung fu master. And when it’s time to venture to your next Universal Studios Florida adventure, handy dryers are available to get you on your way quickly.
Don’t worry, big kids – this spot is also home to Po Live! We’ll explore this entertainment offering in more detail later on.
Poppy’s Playground
The tiniest of trolls are invited to frolic beneath a towering 20-foot mushroom in Poppy’s Playground, accompanied by climbing and bouncing structures adorned with bright flowers and playful bugs. Meanwhile, parents can take a well-deserved break on the nearby benches, keeping an eye on the fun in comfort.
Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres
Cool off in Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres, a play area designed with the smallest ogres in mind. This space features slides, a wet play zone, and a playground that includes Shrek’s iconic outhouse-turned-slide. Be sure to meet Pinocchio, who will be eager to share his “completely truthful” facts – with his nose mysteriously growing with every tale.
Mama Luna Feline Fiesta
Mama Luna Feline Fiesta transports guests into the world of Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish, where Puss decides to hang up his boots and retire. At this interactive attraction, guests can engage with Mama Luna’s playful cats using interactive screens activated by buttons, bells, maracas, and levers. Keep your eyes peeled– everyone’s favorite swashbuckling feline, Puss himself, might just make a surprise appearance or two!
King Harold’s Swamp Symphony
Make music at King Harold’s Swamp Symphony, where lily pads transform into musical keys. As you step, touch, and interact, these pads awaken a chorus of frogs, with each pad producing a distinct note. Gather your friends and family to form an amphibian band and enjoy creating a symphony of sounds together.

Set against the backdrop of Shrek’s cottage, this dedicated spot brings their world to life, offering fans a unique chance to interact with these characters in their own environment.
Po Live!
We return to Po’s King Fu Training Camp to meet the famous dragon warrior himself at Po Live! as he effortlessly blends teaching Kung Fu moves to guests, crafting a delicious stir-fry, and keeping his cousin Ling Ling entertained – all at the same time!
