Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon to debut summer nighttime event

|

Disney has just announced that H2O Glow Nights will take place on Thursdays and Saturdays from June 21 to August 11, from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.

The celebration will feature Toy Story characters and is inspired by the Pixar short film “Partysaurus Rex,” which is part of the Toy Story Toons umbrella of shorts and which originally debuted in front of Finding Nemo back in 2012. Expect H2O Glow Nights to include “special lighting effects,” dance parties, and beach games – appropriate, since “Partysaurus” is all about Rex getting left in the bathroom and attempting to befriend the various bath toys there. As the cherry on top, all of Typhoon Lagoon’s attractions will be open during the event.

Tickets for Typhoon Lagoon’s first after-hours party will go on sale March 19 and will cost $55 for adults and $50 for children (ages three to nine), plus tax. Once on-sale, admission can be purchased by calling 407-939-1872.
