Daughtry performing at Universal Orlando?

Update Oct 11, 11pm: The concert has been removed from the band’s website. We’re still awaiting a comment from Universal.

American Idol season five contestant Chris Daughtry and his band Daughtry may be coming to Universal Studios Florida on November 28, 2015.

The Daughtry official site lists the performance to take place on the Music Plaza Stage. When users press the “get tickets” button they are redirected to the Universal Orlando homepage.

This concert hasn’t been confirmed by Universal. While Universal does hold free concerts in the spring and summer, it is out of character for a concert to take place in late November. Concerts do occasionally take place for major corporations at private events, but Universal Studios is scheduled to close at a normal time on this particular night.

We reached out to Universal Orlando representatives for an official comment and will update this article with any information we receive.
