Did you look through the windows on the patio? If you didnt you missed MAJOR Nickelodeon remains. Also, you could have asked the bar tender to see what was behind the triple doors in the lounge and he/she would of showed you the old Nickelodeon viewing tube.

No, the lounge is for all ages. The beverages you get can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Both times I’ve gone there have been children there 🙂

If you keep an eye out, there are some old Nickelodeon gems hidden. Not within the lounge itself, but going up the stairs there are some signs and such!

Yes you should definitely attend a Blue Man show, it changes so often that I’m sure it’ll be a completely different experience than last time you saw it. The Bluephoria is definitely the way to go!

In reply to julie y. julie y Julie, Yes you can definitely upgrade after you purchase your tickets, as I did that also! Contact the Blue Men guest relations/ticket booth and they will be able to assist you. I do not think you can purchase the VIP upgrade for Bluephoria online yet.

In reply to KarlCarpenter. KarlCarpenter I don't believe that that is always the case. The only marking that gives away you are a VIP when you are in the theater is your bracelet, but it's dark and you're covered in paint and toilet paper at times, so the Blue Men can't always see that from the stage. I was in the front row center for the show, which is generally where the first painting is given away. The second painting was given to a girl who was not VIP and who did not purchase the Bluephoria experience. Along with that, two other on-stage interactions with guests in the audience were not VIP members. The two do not always go hand-in-hand, but may have the time you went just due to coincidence.

When I visited all VIP guests were those chosen for interactions in the show. Not sure if this is a regular thing but the fact that you were chosen for the painting suggests so.

Thanks for a great post, Ally! I haven’t been to Blue Man Group in quit a while, so I think a re-visit is in order, and this will be the way I experience it in 2013 🙂
