I would second Maureen’s advice to speak with a supervisor to try a different Disney Park if you return to WDW.  My 9-year son has ASD and we went to Guest Relations at EPCOT to speak with them about a GAC when visiting in June 2012.  They were exceptionally kind and although we had the letter from his doctor, they waived it off saying that are not allowed to read them anyway.  They gave our family of 4 a GAC alternative entrance card good for our 7-day’s at Disney at all four parks.  They also said they there are quiet, private airconditioned spaces we could use if things got too overwhelming and our son needed time away from the crowds (our hotel was off-site) during the day.   The GAC was a life-saver and made an enjoyable vacation possible for our family.  Good Luck!

Make certain you explain to the supervisor that your child has difficulty waiting for long periods of time and could you please obtain a pass that will help shorten the waiting. If you can’t get results from that supervisor, I would suggest coming back at a later time or going to a different guest relations at a different park.
