OrlandoInformer I was told about it during a visit in July – she showed me how a small area that is somewhat unused next to Cinnabon (and it really was small) would also be included, but like you, I also couldn’t envision how it would work out. I don’t know if it would include the funnel cake place next to it, but I doubt it? However, she is a manager and she was positive about the developments, and considering how Starbucks seems to be growing at such a pace in Orlando’s theme parks, I’m confident it will happen!

@DestroyTheMouse I hadn’t heard that. Interesting idea — I’m sure Starbucks would do very well there, although I’m not sure how the spacing would work out.

What I haven’t seen is any rumours about it moving in to IOA, but I have a friend who works at Cinnabon inside IOA who revealed that Cinnabon and a unit next to it will soon be renovated to become a Starbucks. I don’t know the exact details, but she was very excited about getting her new Starbucks training very soon.
Just thought I’d let you know incase you didn’t already!

“THR” also doesn’t use articles or, for that matter, complete sentences. 😉

Marc N Kleinhenz  Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Hollywood’s main rags, NEVER use ‘helm’ to mean anything but ‘direct’. In fact, many of their articles say “Blah-de-blah will both exec produce AND helm the next piece of crap Hollywood movie.” The word is never used for both jobs. So in trying not to be anal, I’ve won the anal wars! Wow, that’s just one letter off from something nightmarish!

Not necessarily.  “Helming” is, in point of fact, more often done by the (executive) producer than the director — though, obviously, it matters a great deal on just who is involved; someone like Ridley Scott will absolutely call all the shots on his pictures.  (I think most people conflate the stewardship of the overall project with the actual day-to-day creative decisions on the set, which the director most certainly [usually] handles.)
In the case of “Star Wars” specifically, Lucas remained the lead producer on all six films, crafting the story, leading the designers, and overseeing the directors (too much so, in fact, for both of them — particularly in Marquand’s case).  I think if you were to talk to anyone who had worked on any of those productions, they’ll tell you, in no uncertain terms, that it was Lucas’s baby, through and through.
And I hear you about the prequels.  “Revenge of the Sith,” in particular, stands out for me as an almost complete lack of vision and abrogation of  storytelling responsibility.
Not to be anal.  ;P

The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi were both helmed (which in movie talk means directed) by other people. To be even more anal, The Attack of the Clones, which is also a Star Wars movie, was also directed by not-George Lucas. I may know all this but please don’t think I’m some Star Wars fanboy. Anything but.

MicheleFestaUniversal hasn’t confirmed any of the rumors about NBA City closing and the plot reopening as a WWE Hall of Fame, so we really have no idea if/when this will happen.
Regarding the new WWE Performance Center, our press release says it’s located at 5055 Forsyth Commerce Road in Winter Park. I don’t know any details about tours, but you can try posting on their Facebook page to see if they’ll provide more information: https://www.facebook.com/WWEPerformanceCenter.
