Daniel has said many times that he wants to distance himself from
anything HP for the sake of this career and I believe he has the right
to do so. Would it be cool if Daniel did a scene for the new ride? YES.
Is it NECESSARY? I don’t think so. Gringotts will be a phenomenal ride
and it’s not the lack of a projected image that will turn guests away
from it.

I believe Daniel Radcliffe should do something for the new part of Universal. He will always be known as Harry Potter and this should be important to him.

I think it is sad that Daniel Radcliffe will most likely not be filming anything for the new Harry Potter expansion. But I can understand why he doesn’t want to do it. He is just tired of everyone still looking at him as Harry Potter. It is something that he will probably never grow out of.

I will also be a bit bummed if DanRad really isn’t involved in any of the expansion theming.

I am so excited about all the new things going on at Universal and I don’t think it will matter if Dan does anything for Diagon Alley as there is so much more to the Alley then Harry, Ron and Hermoine. At the bank Harry was under the invisiblity cloak so maybe they will just use a voice over, and Rupert was in costum as an older man so it will be easier to pull that off. They definitately belong at Hogwarts but I think Universal can do other exciting stuff with the new expansion. I can not wait to go!!

In reply to gregbrowne. gregbrowne Loved it! I'm not a big alcohol drinker except for beer so this was right up my alley. Tried both Duff regular and Duff light. I'm not a big fan of Guinness and stout beers, so I didn't try Duff Dry.

In reply to beachbound11. beachbound11 Having seen the impressive Flaming Moe, it's definitely has a cool "wow" factor that should impress both adults and kids who haven't seen it before. Duff on draft was great and has me really looking forward to the outdoor Duff Gardens area!

Every time I see info about the Simpsons area I am more and more excited to go (and to eventually see the finished product)! As for Diagon Alley, I can see why D.R. wouldn’t wanna reprise that role as HP: The School Years. I think they could work it out though, without him having to don the school uniform again. *shrugs*

Great review. Dont think I would ever pay $7 for a flaming moe (orange soda with dry ice) but I sure would drink a duff beer. I really love the expansion and I’m sure it will do very well

Right now they are serving them in glass bottles, but not allowing the guests to take the bottles. However the CMs have said that aluminum bottles will be coming in and guests will be able to take those with them. I guess we’ll see as sometimes info even from a front line cast member doesn’t always turn around to be correct.
