Celebrate the holidays and New Year’s Eve at LEGOLAND Florida
LEGOLAND Florida celebrates the holidays with Christmas Bricktacular, Countdown to Kids’ New Year’s Eve and Kids’ News Year’s Eve Bash. Christmas Bricktacular festivities take place every Saturday and Sunday in December.
Christmas Bricktacular activities Include:

The fun isn’t over when Christmas comes to a close. LEGOLAND Florida gets the New Year’s party started early with a Countdown to Kids’ New Year’s Eve that features nightly fireworks over Lake Eloise December 26 – 30. Watch a spectacular fireworks display with special viewing glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding LEGO bricks.
The whole family can enjoy a family-friendly party with Kids’ New Year’s Eve on December 31. Kids get to rock out in Miniland USA with a live DJ Dance Party that’s sure to get the whole family moving. This grand finale features a live-action show, an impressive LEGO fireworks display, and a chance to watch the BRICK Drop at just the right time for kids, midnight KST (Kid Standard Time) – otherwise known as 7:00pm EST.
Along with LEGOLAND Florida’s Christmas Bricktacular and Kids’ New Year’s Eve, guests can still enjoy a full day of theme park fun with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions. Holiday events are included with normal park admission.
LEGOLAND Florida to open hotel in 2015
This week LEGOLAND Florida General Manager Adrian Jones officially announced the park’s much anticipated LEGOLAND Hotel will open in 2015. The announcement was made alongside community leaders with a ceremonial groundbreaking moment at the site where the hotel will be built, directly to the left of LEGOLAND Florida’s entrance, just steps from Lake Eloise.
“The opening of a LEGOLAND Hotel will transition LEGOLAND Florida from a single-day visit theme park to a multi-day resort destination,” said Jones. “This will serve as a catalyst for future economic development in Polk County.”
Welcoming guests with a multicolored exterior and entrance, the four-story LEGOLAND Hotel will immerse families with young children in the world of LEGO, as an extension of the vibrant and interactive theme park experience. Created to bring children’s imaginations to life, the LEGO-themed hotel will feature 152 brightly colored and highly themed rooms and suites, LEGO décor; interactive play areas; a pool and a restaurant.
LEGOLAND Florida Hotel will add 250 construction-related jobs during the construction, and another 250 jobs to its employee base to staff the new hotel upon completion.
This will be the fifth LEGOLAND Hotel in the world joining LEGOLAND California, LEGOLAND Windsor and LEGOLAND Billund hotels. LEGOLAND Malaysia Hotel will soon open its doors.
I’m pumped by all the LEGOLAND news. I’ve visited here once and want to go back. I wouldn’t mind staying at the hotel either, but I got a feeling it might be a bit out of my budget. I might have to at least walk around it when it’s finally built though…
Last year was the first time my family and I attended Our Kid’s World Fun Fest in West Palm Beach and we had a really great time. I recently found out the event is happening on Saturday April 26 & Sunday 27 and that I can even get FREE tickets for the kids online. Not only are my kids excited about this event but they are eagerly looking forward to meeting their favorite Nickelodeon characters. Here is the link where I accessed free kids tickets http://www.adayforkids.com/free-kids-ticket.cfm or you can visit their website http://www.adayforkids.com for more event details.
