The longest running 5k in Orlando, the Dick Batchelor Run raises vital funds for the programs of the Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, part of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Why run?

The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, part of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, is a center for healing children and families in crisis or need. The Dick Batchelor Run for the Children 5k is the largest annual fundraiser for the Howard Phillips Center, offering a fun and unique opportunity for the Central Florida community to come together and give back to the children and families of our great community.

Event schedule

Saturday, January 18
6:15 – 7:15 am – Registration
7:00am – Opening Ceremony
7:15am – 5K Fun Run (Non-timed event)
8:30am – Kids’ Fun Run (Free)
9:00am – Awards Presentation

Registration fees

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Before January 12: $25
January 12 – 17: $28
Race Day: $30 Cash or Check Only
Honorary Child Advocate: Registration + $10
Kids Fun Run: Free, sign up on race day
