I’m not sure they can add in any capacity beyond the portals they already have installed. At least I doubt they have any “temporary” portals they can set up, because they would have to print an entirely new map for that circumstance.

However, it is possible during the slower season they could take some of the portals they have off-line. On opening night of the attraction, last Wednesday Feb. 22, two of the portals on Main Street U.S.A. were not working, although they wouldn’t say if they were simply malfunctioning or if they were turned off on purpose.

I know my kids will enjoy this…reminds me a bit of the MagiQuest game at the Great Wolf Lodges, where you need a wand to activate items to advance in the game. Can’t wait to try it. I bet it will get very crowded in peak times, though….hope the parks anticipate and have extra portals in peak times. Thanks for the information!

That’s a really cute idea! I never played the Kim Possible version, but I’ll be on the look out for this next time I go to MK. 🙂 I’ll also let my family know when they come in June.
