Hilton Garden Inn Orlando at SeaWorld: It’s earned my seal of excellence (and TripAdvisor’s too)
Hilton Garden Inn Orlando at SeaWorld is not only close to all of the SeaWorld attractions, but it is also just a mile from the Orange County Convention Center, all of the International Drive attractions, Universal Orlando and much more. The Orlando International Airport is also just twenty minutes away. This hotel is an Official Hotel Partner of SeaWorld, which means guests staying at the hotel receive early entry to both SeaWorld and Aquatica on select days. Guests also receive exclusive access to the SeaWorld Rescue Tour, discounts at gift shops and restaurants, and the opportunity to reserve the Ultimate Quick Queue front of the line pass, complimentary (limited quantities daily).
This Hilton Garden Inn features 224 guest rooms and seven suites. The standard rooms have one king or two double beds, chair with ottoman, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iPod docking station, iron and ironing board to name a few of the amenities. The suites include all of the same amenities listed above, but also have a separate living area including a couch and a dining room table.
The hotel also offers complimentary high speed internet access/wifi throughout, including in all of the guest rooms, a 24 hour business center, fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the on-site restaurant, the Great American Grill, or unwind with a drink at Sting Ray’s Lounge. If you’re hungry in the middle of the night, there is a 24 hour pantry where you can pick up snacks, drinks and microwavable meals.
We like to have extra space when traveling, so we stayed in one of the wonderful suites this hotel has to offer. The room was very clean and looked exactly like it did in the website photos. I love the fact that Hilton Garden Inns offer refrigerators and microwaves in all of their rooms. We were able to buy drinks, breakfast items and snacks to have on hand, as well as taking advantage of the in-room table to enjoy dinner on some evenings.
Having the table was also the perfect area to set up the laptop or play games with friends that visited. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room area every evening and took full advantage of the hotel pool and hot tub every day.
Another nice touch at this hotel was the free nightly cookies they set out in the lobby, yum!
It was great being so close to the attractions! We could visit Aquatica during the day, return to the hotel for a bite to eat (there is a WaWa nearby that’s great for grabbing some excellent hoagies!), some relaxation and to freshen up before heading to Universal Orlando and International Drive area in the evening — it was very convenient!
TripAdvisor has given this hotel its Certificate of Excellence and I agree. The hotel was clean, comfortable and all of the staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
