It is that time of year again at Universal Orlando — time for Mannheim Steamroller, time for the Macy’s Holiday Parade, and time for Grinchmas!
We were at the parks Thursday, and the holiday decorations are out as Universal prepares to usher in the season of joy. All that’s missing now are the big events, which happen to begin today. We will be there for it all, so we encourage you to join us on our Facebook Page for live photo updates, or see even more on Twitter.
And as always, for a complete rundown of everything that is happening at Universal Orlando for the holidays, be sure to visit our Holidays 2012 page in the OI Universal Center. (Fun Fact: as of yesterday the OI Universal Center finished its 16th consecutive month with a subscriber satisfaction rate over 99 percent?)
Now let’s get to the photo tour. We will run through highlights at each park. Remember that you can click any image to view if full-screen. Then be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post to view our complete gallery with 72 full-screen images.

Most of the decorations at USF can be found in Production Central and the New York backlot. Along with traditional garland, bows, and wreaths, there are also several large balloon figures similar to those used in the Macy’s Holiday Parade.

Inside Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the focus of the holiday action is at Seuss Landing, where the kid-friendly island is transformed into Whoville for the holidays.

Universal Studios Florida
It’s alway fun to see how well known places in Orlando transform into a holiday wonderland. Tourists planning to visit should experience holiday season at least once in The City Beautiful. You never have the same experience twice.
